MakeCode Arcade reflection

A sprite is something in game that controlled by players.  The challenge that is hard to understand what we need to do or why we do this for just look at the words in hints.    But if click at the hints, there will be have a picture that shows what the code blocks look like.   MakeCode is a coding system, you can use this system to learn different types of programming(coding). You can adjust what you have and also you can practice your ideas.  In MakeCode Arcade, there have a beta system for the developer. You can use this to test your game, and find where need to modify.  In MakeCode Arcade, you can make different type of game, like Blocks games, Javascript games.  In game design, first, you need to think about what type of game you want to create. Second, you need a framework for when to win and when to lose. Third ,you need create a sprite to let players controll. Finally you can add/change what needs for your game. ...

I am the creator of the game Lotus Lamp. At the beginning of creating this game, I didn't have any idea about the game. First, I drawing on an ancient Chinese myth as a backdrop to onfold my game's storyline. Second, I chose to make my game with Minecraft. Because I am more familiar with Mineecraft than other game design engines/tools. When I started to use Minecraft to create the game, I have learned a lot of new knowledge, like: how to use the Command Block, how to make the game automation...... To created this game, the challenges were make the game aotumation: automatic, endless supply of materials to players, there will be no situation that can not be released in time. Gradually difficult level. And the progress were I make my game aesthetic. Had enough checkpoint for players. And had remedies when players fell from high place but not dead, there will had different types of restart method. Playable Prototype/Beta Reflection

I finished built 3/4 of my game about three weeks. Design changes based on actual conditions. And add the storyline in-game.  (beginning of the game, intro 1) (beginning of the game, intro 2) (level 1 checkpoint) Challenges in this game are 1. Didn't have enough time to finish all my game, so, I delete some part of my game. 2. It's the first time I create the game in Minecraft, so I'm not used to using it, some things I don't know how to use. 3. Hard to make game automation.   S uccesses, 1. I make the gameplay novel. 2. If the player falls from mainline, but do not die, there have an area that can make the player die.  3. Make the game gradually become difficult.
