Playable Prototype/Beta Reflection
I finished built 3/4 of my game about three weeks. Design changes based on actual conditions. And add the storyline in-game.
(beginning of the game, intro 1)(beginning of the game, intro 2)(level 1 checkpoint)
Challenges in this game are 1. Didn't have enough time to finish all my game, so, I delete some part of my game. 2. It's the first time I create the game in Minecraft, so I'm not used to using it, some things I don't know how to use. 3. Hard to make game automation.
Successes, 1. I make the gameplay novel. 2. If the player falls from mainline, but do not die, there have an area that can make the player die.
3. Make the game gradually become difficult.
(beginning of level 1-simply try)
(beginning of level 1-simply try)
4. Have many signs that can let the player know what need to do next.
5. Give the player the right amount of resources.
Reflection on the entire game design process needs to add/changes many things to make the game automation. Make sure the player will not alive when they fall from the game or have unpredictable situations lead to weakened gameplay, so, need to create safety measures.
I will be going to finish the part of the game that I delete. And publish a final version of my game.
